Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2011 | Pria Kataria Puri

This time around, Pria Kataria Puri's collection was inspired by Marrakesh, Morocco. I loved the collection! Scroll down to see why :)

Loved all the aqua - the saris, kaftan-y dresses, and the kaftans!!

 The collection featured some cool headgear - glittery head wraps and multicolored scarves studded with sequins and beads. I loved the orange bikini - so fierce!

 One set of clothes featured cream cloth with a repeating motif of what appeared to be buttons, with fringe, jeweled collars and hems, and empire waists.

Love Love Love all the bright, cheery summer colors - 

goldenrod, hot orange, cool green and as mentioned above, aquamarine.

LFW 2010: Priya Kataria Puri

Pria Kataria Puri showcased her Summer/Resort 2010 collection at LFW at the beginning of March. The collection was full of bright colors, as is Ms. Kataria Puri's custom. I loved the prints that looked like jewels from far away, and the way that the clothes flowed (perfect for summer!).

 

Among my favorites: the very simple and elegant black and white sari with a cool printed blouse;

 

   The white dress with its its summery print that reminded me of Morocco; and the flowing kaftans in bright colors.
